EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:

If "Mean Girls" has 60 enrollments by October 3, 2025, we will license a 2nd show & split into 2 casts. 

WE ARE NOT THERE YET:) But IF we have 60 enrollments we will give students the option of the following:

1. Sunday Cast Only

2. Monday Cast Only

3. Either day that offers me the biggest part. (Some students will still be ensemble, however.)

**Please note: Individuals enrolled in the Monday-Only option will be reimbursed 100% if we don't have 60 sign-ups to make it work.

Mean Girls Jr. is a fun, clean, age-appropriate adaptation of the hit musical, written specifically for younger performers and family audiences.

It’s fiercely funny and heartfelt, following new girl Cady Heron as she navigates friendship, cliques, and finding her voice. From the bold Plastics to the lovable outcasts, every role is packed with personality, comedy, and style. Whether you're a queen bee or a mathlete, there’s a place for you in North Shore High!

Performers rehearse for a musical & perform two exciting shows for the community. Everyone has a part in this magical 60-minute production.

*Performers are responsible for providing their own costume.

This show features excellent parts to challenge older, mature performers, and lots of opportunities for beginners to have a blast on stage.

Mean Girls Jr. Character Breakdown 

Casting Ages: All roles are open to performers aged 5–18

Cady Heron – The new girl at North Shore High, navigating friendship, identity, and fitting in. Smart, kind, and a little awkward.

Regina George – The glamorous and ruthless queen bee of the Plastics. A powerhouse role full of sass, control, and stage presence.

Gretchen Wieners – Regina’s anxious but loyal second-in-command. Funny, emotional, and desperate for approval.

Karen Smith – The third Plastic. Naïve, sweet, and hilariously clueless. A great comedic role.

Janis Sarkisian – Artistic, edgy, and sharp-witted. Cady’s friend and narrator of the story. Strong voice and attitude.

Damian Hubbard – Janis’s best friend. Outgoing, theatrical, and a loyal hype man. 

Great comedic timing and energy.

Aaron Samuels – Cady’s crush and Regina’s ex. Chill, friendly, and slightly oblivious to the drama.

Ms. Norbury – The supportive teacher trying to help students do the right thing. Grounded and humorous.

Mr. Duvall – The awkward but well-meaning school principal. Good comic instincts.

Mrs. George – Regina’s over-the-top “cool mom.” Big personality and fun energy.

Kevin Gnapoor – The Mathlete team captain and wannabe rapper. Tons of swagger and humor.

Taylor & Caroline – Confident, popular girls with standout lines, singing, and attitude.

K-Pop vs Zombies 2-Day Winter Break Camp

Mon & Tues, December 22 & 23, 2025

Celebrate all things K-Pop Demon Hunters & Zombies 1-4 with this exciting new musical theater camp. Students will gain stage experience and have fun performing songs and choreography from the hit shows.

Performers in this camp will also have fun developing performance skills through acting games and activities. This is a great class for all experience levels and ages.

This camp runs simultaneously with our Acting & Improvisation camp. Kids can sign up for one or the other. We have space to allow both activities at once.

Students are welcome to focus on what they are most interested in, we are flexible enough to accommodate their interests.

Acting & Improv 2-Day Winter Break Camp

Great for boys, shy kids, kids looking to develop their stage skills or confidence. 

Performers in this camp will also have fun developing performance skills through acting games and activities. This is a great class for all experience levels and ages.

This camp runs simultaneously with our K-Pop & Demon Hunters camp. Kids can sign up for one or the other. We have space to allow both activities at once.

Eric – Opening solo line at the top of the show. Solo singing required.

Tommy – Has a solo line in “Miracle.” Solo singing required.

Amanda – Has some solo lines and comic scene moments. Solo singing required.

Bruce – Big singing/acting role, featured in “Bruce.” Solo singing required.

Lavender – Featured dialogue and small solo lines. Solo singing required.

Alice – One of the solo kids in classroom numbers. Solo singing required.

Hortensia – Solo lines in classroom scenes. Solo singing required.

Nigel – Gets solo lines and features in “School Song.” Solo singing required.

Kids / Children / Ensemble (Little Kids, Big Kids, Big Kid 1–3) – Sing in group numbers, but may not have solos. No solo singing required unless assigned small lines.

Adults (Ages 10–18 playing adults)

Matilda – Major singing role (“Naughty,” “Quiet,” etc.). Solo singing required.

Mr. Wormwood – Comedy role with featured singing (“Telly”). Solo singing required.

Mrs. Wormwood – Major comedy/dance role with singing (especially in “Loud”). Solo singing required.

Michael – Comic acting role, speaks in deadpan one-liners. No solo singing required.

Mrs. Phelps – Gentle librarian, speaking role with warmth. No solo singing required.

Escapologist – Featured in story Matilda tells; strong presence, some singing. Solo singing required.

Acrobat – Partner to Escapologist; some singing depending on cut, often more physical. Usually no solo singing required (featured in movement/acting).
